techno toys

ok, I am in love with a new toy! the Samsung 2MB - MP3 player that we bought for some of the county staff are fabulous!!! I am so glad that I am able to say that I have at least used an MP3 player and I really had fun doing it!!!

In the past month I have gotten a Blackberry and an MP3 player, whew I'm movin on up.....

Along with these 23 things I figure I will officially be up-to-date with technology, well for a minute anyways until things change again.

Flickr fun

Well what fun I had at Flicker, this nifty little site has all sorts of great features in addition to simply sharing photos online with friends and family. I saw something called Filckr Badges and I thought that I deserved a badge as much as they did so I made one for myself. Check out the side bar for my most recent family photos. Make your own badge here.

The hard part was getting it to post on my page. It says to simply cut and paste this code into my site, well it has not been simple at all. I kept getting errors so I started over and it posted first try. Who knows?

I will, I can, I do

Now I must remember those seven habits though I keep getting distracted thinking about the great way this program is presented. I love the blog learning method with the online slide show and audio.

Toughest "habit" for me is #1 - Begin with the end in mind.

It's seems the end goal is always changing and being tweaked so I always must remember to be have a flexible plan on the path to my end goals.

Easiest "habit" for me is # 4 - Have confidence in your self as a competent, effective learner.

I truly love new technologies and I can't wait to figure them out and spread the word to others on how they will benefit by using them.

I look forward to see how everyone, including myself, succeed with this program and continue on the path of lifelong education.
